Epilepsy management is a complex setting, in which multiple anti-seizure medications (ASMs) are often required to try to achieve seizure control and are often given together with several other drugs for comorbidities. Despite the availability of many ASMs and the constant addition of new entities to the therapeutic armamentarium of the neurologist, the unmet need for treatment options remains high.

An Angelini scientific educational initiative “From Now On” was held for the first time in November 2023 in Milan. It provided the attendees with relevant and updated evidence on cenobamate and its use in clinical practice, and involved a faculty of internationally acknowledged opinion leaders in the field of epilepsy with an substantial real-world experience on cenobamate, stimulating an open and extensive sharing of knowledge and information on all the most relevant aspects of this ASM and of the management of people with epilepsy in general.
